Viral diseases like Avian Influenza and Newcastle Disease attaches to water/moisture and dust and spreads through the air.
Munters has developed a concept that with 98-99% effect traps and thus filters out viruses, preventing them from entering the barn.
The concept consists of mechanical filter units mounted externally to the air inlets.
At DanHatch, we have just completed the first project for chickens in Denmark. Here, AirProTec® modules are installed that both filter and cool the fresh air before it is blown into the house.
